This service is designed to involve your child in his or her community and other natural environments. It may be that your child needs support while attending their gymnastics class, soccer practice, church activities, school extracurricular events, or while swimming at their local recreation center. Habilitative supports can be used to involve and support your child in improving their skills in:
• Daily living;
• Personal care;
• Relationship building;
• And participation in leisure and community activities.
Services are provided by a Habilitative Support Therapist that has completed training required by the State of Idaho and meets the State of Idaho’s qualifications. Additionally, AFI provides continual training and oversight to the staff person to ensure that your child is improving their skills in a fun, positive, and safe setting.
