Practice Air Travel for Those with Disabilities

Wings.png

Autism Society Treasure Valley, Boise Airport, The Arc, Delta Airlines, SkyWest, and the Transportation Security Administration are partnering to offer an air travel experience for people with disabilities.

This event provides individuals with disabilities a chance to experience a “practice flight,” and become more familiar with air travel. Participants will go through check-in, security screening, boarding an airplane, safety briefing, taxiing, disembarking procedures, and claiming baggage.

Participants will be boarding the aircraft at 6:00 PM, but they ask that you arrive at the airport no later than 5:00 PM to allow ample time to check-in and pass through security.

Registration is free and on a first-come, first-served basis. Participation is limited to 76 people.
